Josh and Jenn both graduated from UCSD. They met each other while on a school trip to Israel. Their love for each other grew out of a strong friendship, and from the couple of hours I spent with them, they are clearly best friends. I set up their engagement session at Laguna Mountain Recreation area, a place I recently discovered while on an outing for the Wilderness Basics Class I recently completed. When I went there back in May I was amazed at how close it is to San Diego (just over an hour drive), yet how different the landscape looked. At 6000 feet elevation, Laguna Mountain looks more to me like the Lake Tahoe area than San Diego: alpine meadows, tall pine trees, lakes. I knew right away that I wanted to shoot and engagement session there, but felt I should wait for the right couple to come along. Josh was in touch with me soon afterward about setting up his engagement session. After finding out that both he and Jenn love to travel, are very active, and love the outdoors, I knew I had found my couple for Laguna Mountain.
Josh and Jenn will be married in May of 2013.
