We love hitting the road and when that involves going to the San Francisco Bay Area, we get all giddy! The setting for Ashley and Matt’s wedding was beautiful Marin County, literally at the base of Mount Tamalpais. The wedding took place in the beautifully decorated backyard of relatives, with a creek and beautiful trees bordering the yard. Ashley and Matt opted for a first look and to shoot all of the formal photos before the ceremony. We did all this at the Branson School, which was a fantastic setting providing beautiful wooded backgrounds and excellent light from the shade offered by the large trees.
Besides the gorgeous setting, we had many similarities to Ashley and Matt that made the day a lot of fun. Like us, they own a Subaru Outback, love the mountains, and love to hike and camp. The weekend went by too quickly.
